Sandra Lawman is chosen to fight Croydon South2.39.13pm GMT Wed 26th Jan 2005
Sandra Lawman is the new Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for Croydon South for the Liberal Democrats. A councillor for 11 years, Sandra has stood for Parliament twice before and was a European candidate last summer. Sandra now runs an NHS charity and has worked both in a national voluntary sector organisation and in international business. She has been active in politics for twenty years and is involved nationally in the party. 'I am delighted to have been selected for Croydon South', Sandra said. 'The Liberal Democrats have all to play for in this election and up and down the country people want to give us a chance. No-one trusts Labour and the Conservatives are all over the place at the moment. I look forward to standing up for the people of Croydon'.
