The Lib Dems believe in a greener transport system. In Croydon, we want the tram extended into Sutton, to provide better cross-town transport.

The Liberal Democrats believe in individual freedom. Britain has turned into the most watched society in the world, too much repressive legislation has been pushed through Parliament, innocent peoples' DNA is being retained by the police and childrens' fingerprints are being collected in schools. The Liberal Democrats are fighting these repressive and anti-democratic measures:

• Corruption is a Crime - We need an inquiry into BAE.

The Liberal Democrats are committed to reforming Europe and making it work for us. We want Britain's place in Europe to be resolved once and for all by giving the British people the decision about our membership and holding a referendum.

The Liberal Democrats have a fully-costed set of economic policies to reduce the tax burden, especially on the low-paid, to make local tax much fairer by scrapping Council Tax and making Britain carbon neutral by 2050:
